Day 23: Core Data Migration Crash
There was this bug in Fontcase, related to Core Data which plagued me for a while a few months ago. The solution was quite obscure so I thought I’d share it here.
The problem arose if Fontcase was built on 10.6. If so, the CoreData migration manager would fail on 10.5 mysteriously. I searched in vain for a solution until <a href=”http://twitter.com/wilshipley”>@wilshipley</a> was kind enough to point me to the solution. Apparently it’s a bug on Apple’s part.
